Squatch Creative has always been inspired by the golden-age of advertising. Our crew relies on a background in analog and digital techniques to orchestrate inspired campaigns.

Established in 2013 our headquarters can be found on the edge of Wilmington’s Brandywine Park. Located directly next to the historic studios of American Illustrator Frank Schoonover.

Since meeting in 2013, Squatch has been the creative effort behind Hannibal’s personal branding. Initially tasked with a clean overhaul to his existing web presence, the team went on to tackle two international tours. Comedy Camisado (2014-2015), culminated in a 60 minute Netflix special shot in Minneapolis. During those dates, Squatch created Comedy Camisado TV, a YouTube channel that housed video shot and edit on the road.

After the success of the first tour 2016 birthed The Hannibal Montanabal Experience. Expected to run until mid-2017 with a leg of Australian dates. THME provided the opportunity to increase social marketing endeavors. In 2017, the decision was made to take the podcast The Handsome Rambler independent. Starting with Episode 11, Squatch will undertake trafficking/publishing duties.

PROJECT: HannibalBuress.com
Our first project with HB, still in use, an easy to manage fully responsive web presence.


Working alongside Hannibal we developed a custom design that pulled content from across his social platforms. Making it easy to update on the road, even from his phone.

PROJECT: COMEDY CAMISADO TOUR BRANDING + MARKETING MATERIALS
Comedy Camisado Tour culminated in a 60 minute Netflix special directed by Lance Bangs.

The modular tour branding was disseminated globally in both print and digital.


Spawning off dozens of iterations for individual and multiple city promotions.


PROJECT: COMEDY CAMISADO TV
Comedy Camisado – now the channel for the Hannibal Montanabal Experience was the home for long running tour clips.


These segments featured everything from restaurant reviews to slaying unruly hecklers. Everything surrounding these edits was storyboard, shot, and produced on the road.

PROJECT: COMEDY CAMISADO NETFLIX SPECIAL PROMO PHOTOGRAPHY
Created in conjunction with NetFlix. Squatch extended creative direction and photography unit direction for Hannibal’s latest special.


The new collateral was used in digital and print promotional pushes.

The process of branding Hannibal’s tour began with a photoshoot at his apartment in Brooklyn.

Working along side outlets like Ticketmaster and Live Nation a social marketing effort was coordinated through HB’s social platforms and site. Squatch manages a full schedule of social campaigns and reports engagement throughout active touring months.

LYCRA® brand fiber was developed by the DuPont Company in the late 60’s. Created as a long-lasting alternative to then swimwear fabric options (cotton mostly, but in some cases wool). LYCRA® and parent company INVISTA were purchased by Koch Industries in 2007. Squatch was instrumental in the formation of social platforms and content strategy during the last 3 years. Traveling with the in-house team to assist in content creation surrounding activations at SWIM MIAMI and Interfilliere NYC.


PROJECT: THE “LYCRA CHALLENGE” FEAT. ANASTASIA ASHLEY
The LYCRA® Challenge was created along side influential model and pro-surfer Anastasia Ashley. Cobranded with popular swimwear companies TYR and Vitamin A.


The campaign was a six-month study that followed Anastasia from her home in San Clemente, CA to Staniel Cay in the Bahamas.

The primary function was stress testing LYCRA® fiber throughout activities in the sun, surf, and pool.


Culminating in the LYCRA® showcase during MIAMI SWIM — Anastasia walked along side models that wore one-of-a-kind suits from 10 designers, all featuring fabric made with LYCRA® brand fiber.

PROJECT: LYCRA® DESIGN CHALLENGE – OCEANDRIVE MAGAZINE
The winner of the LYCRA® Design Challenge was Ute Gaenshirt, designer for Acambha. For taking home first place Acambha was awarded ad placement and a full shoot in Miami’s Coconut Grove.


Her suit was featured in various trade publications and Ocean Drive magazine. Squatch executed the photo shoot, print ad layout, and digital ad design featuring model Alina Boyko.

Amy needs no introduction but here’s one anyway. A Staten Island native, Amy’s work as an NYC stand-up reaches back over a decade. From her popular Comedy Central series Inside Amy Schumer to her recent book release Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo, her comedic styling is recognized internationally. Now in the middle of a successful transition onto the big screen, it is obvious she shows no sign of slowing down.


PROJECT: AMY SCHUMER TOUR MERCHANDISE
Squatch’s fingerprint can be found on the 2016 tour merchandise and promotional material. 2017 will see the release of graphic design projects narrated by Amy’s personal art direction.

Squatch worked alongside Delaware print shop Spaceboy Clothing to fulfill orders for both domestic and international tour dates.

PROJECT: BTS TOUR CONTENT CREATION
Throughout a multitude of dates video content was created for immediate release on Amy’s social platforms. These video vignettes recapped the prior night’s city and activities throughout the day.

Creative projects spanned the period of two sold-out, critically acclaimed, international arena tours.

Squatch provided FaceBook Live and photography support the night Amy made history as the first female comic to sell-out MSG.

Shot by legendary photographer Mark Seliger in NYC. Squatch shot and produced a quick behind the scenes peek of Amy’s last Marie Claire cover.

Closing it’s doors in 2005 after 33 years, the Stone Balloon was a historic entertainment venue. Hosting acts like Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, and My Morning Jacket in the eighties and nineties. When Hi 5 Hospitality assumed control, they looked to honor the landmark through branding, menu, and decor.


PROJECT: BRAND VOICE ESTABLISHMENT + LOGO DESIGN
With a nod to the original organization, our style guide focused on several variations to the new logo concept.


Extensive local market research lead our process in re-introducing the community to The Stone Balloon. Establishing guidelines for all future in-house marketing efforts.


New logo projections gave the owners and management the proper visuals to see how the new brand should be implemented.

This thumb print can been seen in everything from interior design fixtures to glassware and custom lighting installations.


PROJECT: STONE BALLOON WEBSITE
While creating the new brand aesthetic we knew the site had to be special. Squatch relied on custom video content and a unique navigation scheme to accomplish that look.


Cinematography helped us capture the new interior design efforts as well as food and drink offerings.

Wheelhouse Nutrition is a Delaware-born powder supplement that boasts a non-GMO, RBGH free whey protein concentrate. A no hidden additives approach with unique ingredients sourced from New Zealand. The ownership team’s ultimate vision was to create an authentic product for active individuals.


PROJECT: WHEELHOUSE NUTRITION PACKAGING + IDENTITY
Wheelhouse Nutrition came to us after a shaky launch for a fantastic product. When initial brand and marketing efforts fell short for WHN, we assisted in forging a different direction. Beginning with a full rebrand, the logo treatment and package design took on a new shape.


PROJECT: WHEELHOUSE NUTRITION WEBSITE
WHN’s ecommerce site was next on the list. With strong media buys in place, Squatch simplified the site map to drive traffic directly to sales.


Incorporating short video segments accompanied by clean product photography to the existing shop layout.

Post-relaunch announcement, Squatch crafted engaging social content from existing project assets. Social promotion strategy hinged on short video posts that incorporated voiceover talent and animation elements.

Creative Director Marcus Price has been a graphic design fanatic his entire life. Motivated by legends like Vignelli and Glaser, NYC serves as a never ending well for inspiration.
